An Introduction to Chaiby ~MichaelBeckett

This is one of those pen sketches that got pleasantly out of control. It was supposed to be just a sketch of Adrienne and Rebecca, but the scenery serves as a good intro to the world I've been working on.

The entire thing is an island chain just sort of floating there in conceptual space. The giant tree in the background is the nominal center of the largest island, called Chai. The ladies are on top of a building in the only city on Chai (there's another less pleasant city on another island, but that's for later.), which is called Chai Town. Creative, huh? Anyway, the city is home to all kinds of bizarre imaginings, all of which I'm looking forward to drawing.
