A lovely young Viera mage named Vanri. So here's an interesting question - the Viera are a SquareEnix race, but Vanri isn't based on any single Viera, nor is her costume based on any mage design. She's not even a player character from FFXI - her design is completely original - but she's still a Viera. So is it fanart or not?

there's just something about viera's that's so cool. ...but is it just me or is her torso a bit longer than it should be. ya know anatomically speakin...

anyhow, i love the way miss vanri here exhibits michael's love for FF as well as michael's love for nomura tetsuya-san. because buckles are the very essence of cool.

I... Don't think her torso is outta whack... I mean, it looks okay to me. I choose to believe that you are insane. Also, if you think Vanri has a lot of buckles, take a look at the work Mr. Nomura did for Samurai Legend Musashi. The dude's pants are made entirely of buckles. Mr. Nomura, and this is a prediction I have no trouble making, will one day create as a character a man made entirely of belts. And I will love it.

i don't know, it just looks long to me. ... ... ... okay upon further staring, i think it's the way her belt makes her torso look longer than it actually is. and that thing underneath her breasts. it needs a name. rib-veil? anyhow, i think it doesn't look long to me anymore. *is off to find samurai legend musashi pics!*
