Volleyball Geisha

One geisha volleyball player. I actually got a complaint a while back that my drawings were quote-sexist-unquote, which is bizarre and insulting. If you look at the women I draw, you'll notice one major theme - they're almost exclusively assertive, strong, and generally ass-kicking in nature. If portraying strong, beautiful women is sexist, then something is seriously wrong with that word.

So anyway, this piece is supposed to be sort of an extreme expression of that attitude - pretty ladies who kick no small amount of butt. A geisha, considered pretty much the height of elegant lady-ship, combined with a combative pose and attitude. Plus volleyball, because I can't resist being bizarre. In other news, I decided against the Yakuza tattoos. Couldn't get 'em to look right. Oh well. Its not like this piece doesn't break enough of the geisha rules of appearance as it is.
